Rita Vo Accompanies Ca Mau - Ho Chi Minh City Social Welfare Exchange Program

On the afternoon of March 14, at Minh Hai Guest House, the Standing Committee of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee hosted a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross and leaders from various departments and districts in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation, led by Ms. Tran Kim Yen, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee and Head of its Inspection Commission, was there to visit, work, and conduct social welfare activities in Ca Mau province.

During the exchange, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the kindness of the delegation and the sponsors towards Ca Mau.

The delegation was received by a number of provincial leaders, including Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Ms. Le Thi Nhung, Mr. Lam Van Bi, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Mr. Le Minh Y, and Mr. Truong Dang Khoa. Notably, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tran, the mother of Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai, was also present.

As part of the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross carried out many practical activities, such as inaugurating a rural bridge, providing medical examinations and free medicine, and offering gifts to disadvantaged families and policy beneficiaries in the area.

Mr. Tran Truong Son, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, spoke at the event, detailing the many practical activities being implemented in Ca Mau.

A highlight of the event was when Ms. Huynh Ngoc Nu Phuong Hong, Secretary of the District 5 Party Committee, presented a symbolic board for an 800 million VND donation to Ca Mau province. This included 500 million VND to build a rural bridge and 300 million VND for "Houses of Compassion." Rita Vo Company was the main sponsor for the "Houses of Compassion," helping to improve living conditions for disadvantaged households.

Ms. Huynh Ngoc Nu Phuong Hong handed over the 800 million VND symbolic board to the leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Fatherland Front, with the donation designated for a rural bridge (valued at 500 million VND) and "Houses of Compassion" (sponsored by Rita Vo Company).

In his speech, Mr. Tran Truong Son, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, emphasized the profound humanitarian significance of the program, highlighting the solidarity and bond between the two regions. He also expressed his desire to continue expanding support activities to help the people of Ca Mau improve their lives.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, also expressed his respect and gratitude for the meaningful contributions from the delegation, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, and the sponsors, including Rita Vo Company. He affirmed that these activities not only provide material value but also serve as a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping local residents overcome difficulties and move toward a better life.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan Anh, Secretary of the District 7 Party Committee, also presented a symbolic board for a total donation of 1.06 billion VND, which included two houses, three rural bridges, 200 gift packages, and 200 cartons of Vinamilk milk, to the leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Fatherland Front.

The exchange and work program between the Ho Chi Minh City delegation and Ca Mau province concluded in a warm atmosphere of solidarity, opening up many opportunities for sustainable economic and social cooperation between the two localities in the future.
